21, 2012.  Our firm recently completed the new 78,000 s.f. home of the Chicago Theological Seminary on the University campus.

Midwest's Best Projects of 2011 awards program.  The Public Building Commission of Chicago accepted the award at a breakfast to honor all the winners on December 6th. 

International School of Chicago.  The owl represents the school's mascot and was created by the artist Oscar Leon from the Studio of Rotblatt Amrany. 

The University of Chicago and the Seminary, will be dedicated on Friday, October 21st.  The new 75,000 s.f. building houses offices, classrooms, and a small chapel on the first and second floors.  The third floor houses the Learning and Student Commons while the fourth floor includes a circular, glass-enclosed worship space and dining room with views of the adjacent green roof and the Midway Plaisance.  This building is targeting LEED Silver Certification.

Ogden’s mission is to “…focus on a curriculum that immerses an individual in a rich and safe environment to obtain awareness of foreign cultures through language, studies, and interactive field experiences to apply skills necessary for global citizenship and competency.” This building is on track to achieve LEED Gold Certification.
 

of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, for which Nagle Hartray served as Architect of Record, was formally granted LEED Silver Certification. The SDRP serves meals to 3,600 students, the largest segment of student housing on the campus. LEED features include the use of recycled construction products, sustainable wood-based materials, a white reflective roof to reduce solar heat absorption, native landscaping, low-energy lighting, low VOC paints, and even a fryer oil reclaiming system which holds used oil for processing into biodiesel motor fuel.
