Willow Springs Village Hall
Willow Springs, Illinois

Area: 7,500 square feet

Site & Program: This new village hall occupies a prominent location within a new development that will establish a downtown for this growing suburban community. The modest program includes administrative offices and meeting rooms.

Design: Nagle Hartray shaped the building to its site on a circular court that terminates a prominent downtown axis. The single-story plan is organized around the Council Chambers, which features clerestory lighting. The architecture reflects the community’s heritage as a canal town.
