Trinity Episcopal Church Wheaton, Illinois Completion: 1997 Renovation Area: 23,500 square feet Expansion Area: 2,000 square feet Site & Program: This suburban church consists of three buildings including an 1882 chapel on the Historic Registry. Goals included making the church ADA accessible, renovation and expansion of classroom and parish hall facilities, and the creation of a formal entry court. Design: Nagle Hartray developed a master plan to allow for achievement of project goals over time. The executed design for expansion of the parish hall reinforced a sense of community among parishioners. Forms and materials are derived from the existing architecture.
